PT. Indo Spices is a grower,  processor and exporter of Natural VANILLA BEANS  with strong focus on the Planifolia type, working side by side with 100 small scale vanilla growers in Samosir Island, in the middle of Lake Toba, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Samosir Island has been long known as one of the sources for Vanilla Beans since 1979, with estimated crop per year up to 50 tons, with positive increase each year . 

PT. Indo Spices is committed to working with more growers,  paying fair prices and helping  them develop long-term land management plans that are based on  organic and sustainable agriculture practices.  As part of our campaign for consistent availability, PT. Indo Spices has organized more growers to cultivate vanilla beans this year and has provided the plant root to more than 100 local people in Balige, North Sumatra where PT. Indo Spices also runs its vanilla plantation and operates the curing process.
